Keyonta Whitlow, better known to his friends and family as Key, his social media followers, and clients as the Low Key Entrepreneur. But some that truly know his story may simply call him the survivor. Keyonta Whitlow is a young, driven man who beat the odds of his professional medical diagnosis. After being nearly murdered and told that if he were to live, he would most likely be a vegetable for the rest of his life, Keyonta has not only proven the doctors wrong but has evolved into a powerful, knowledgeable, and impactful young man. Like most personal credit and business specialists, Keyonta got started because his credit was messed up, but being the person that he is, he learned everything that he needed to be able to fix his current predicament, but he didn’t stop there. Growing up, he had always had an entrepreneurial mindset. From literally selling almost everything that his family purchased for him to flipping over 100 pairs of sneakers while still in high school. Once he was able to repair his own credit, he found his way back to flipping sneakers, but this time at a much larger scale. This was only possible because he unlocked the power of credit. Since then, he has started, funded and scaled multiple businesses. After educating and helping a few friends and family do the same, he decided that he needed to make an impact at a larger scale. While interviewing, he told me, “Yeah, flipping sneakers, electronics, and all that stuff is cool and necessary, but I find more enjoyment in helping people upgrade their mindset. Credit is a system that is designed for us to fail. Our entire US economy is based off of credit. Don’t you think something this important should be taught in school? I’m sure you do, but they would rather teach us about unnecessary things and push us to enroll in college so that by the time you’re 21, you have already accumulated a substantial amount of debt. I don’t know about you, but I would rather learn the system and learn how to utilize the bank’s money to fund my own passion.” In a world where adversity could have defined him, Keyonta Whitlow, aka ‘The Low Key Entrepreneur,’ emerged not just as a survivor, but as a symbol of resilience and empowerment.
